The 'Hangang' is Seoul's main river, stream direction is east to west. many bridges on Hangang, connect to north seoul(Gang-Buk) and south seoul(Gang-Nam). in winter, Hangang is freezing sometimes.other information : The Hangang River / Satellite picture

There really seem to be a lot of bridges. I assume that you're standing on one next to the railroads bridge, no? Otherwise you would be flying in the air ;-).
